All American Restoration adheres to all OSHA regulations, is certified by the ACAC, IICRC, and applies state of the art technology to go above and beyond the initial recommendations from the CDC, WHO, RIA, and IICRC. Our technology removes microbial, chemical residues, bacteria, viruses, pathogens, allergens, and biotoxins (such as mycotoxins and endotoxins). As testing does become available for virus contamination on surfaces, we will be providing data for case studies so that this process can be duplicated for future success across the country.

Coronavirus Disinfecting

The Coronavirus is an enveloped virus, which makes it is one of the easier viruses to disinfect if the proper protocols are followed.

Researchers show that EPA registered products that are effective against non-enveloped viruses will be effective on enveloped viruses such as the Coronavirus. Using CDC approved and EPA registered industrial-strength botanical disinfectants with a broad spectrum kill claim, we are able to properly disinfect your vehicles from COVID-19.

our Process and why we’re different

We are pioneers in removing microbial, chemical residues, bacteria, viruses, pathogens, allergens, and biotoxins.

We use a series of engineering controls to regulate the air pressure in your police, fire or EMT vehicle. Doing this allows all infected materials as well as the air to be disinfected by using our vapor washing technology. Our vapor washing proccess ensures that our disinfectant has enough dwell time on your vehicle’s surfaces.

We follow this up with our 3-stage wipe down process to disinfect Coronavirus. This is an important step to curbing the spread of this virus.

Fully encapsulated personal protective equipment (PPE) and full-face respirator masks are worn at all times by our technicians.

We utilize our same technology to clean our equipment, trucks, and waste storage areas to ensure that there is no cross-contamination.

What is Being used in our vehicles?

This is a question you should be asking anyone offering your fleet Coronavirus disinfecting services.

We use CDC approved and EPA registered industrial-strength botanical disinfectants with a broad spectrum kill claim. The botanical product that we use are safe and non-toxic.

There are a good amount of products on the market that will “kill COVID-19.” Unfortunately, they come with potential harm to your lungs. We have seen several cleaning companies transform themselves into Coronavirus experts. These fly-by-night companies do not understand the chemical breakdown of the Chlorine based products they are being used.

A label that states “non-toxic” can often be an albatross. We’re seeing companies fog vehicles, without an understanding of engineering controls or what is need to fully kill the virus.

Aeresolized chlorine-derived products will attack your respiratory system; especially if you are sitting in your car for a 12 hour shift. The Aerosol sprays create a fine mist that stays in the air and is able to go deeper into the lungs than the mist made by spray bottles that make a stream instead of a mist. This increases your exposure if these products are being used.

Our botanical disinfectants are derived from the oil of the plant Thyme.

We are pioneers in removing microbial, chemical residues, bacteria, viruses, pathogens, allergens, and biotoxins.

about us

Our management has a combined 45+ years in the remediation space where we perform on average 75 technical remediation projects per year.  Our projects range from working on a 2,500 sq foot home to a 50,000 sq foot commercial property. We have not only developed the most technically advanced process in the country to remove biohazards, but we have perfected state-of-the-art engineering controls and containment to contain certain areas. We have vast experience in building pressurization to ensure regardless of the limitations, we can provide the proper pressures in each zone to prevent cross-contamination. This is important when building quarantine zones or disinfecting contaminated spaces while maintaining a clean environment in the other spaces of a building which are not contaminated. Cross-contamination is the main culprit behind spreading an infectious disease.

Compliance & Guidelines

When looking for a company to provide Coronavirus disinfecting and remediation, it’s vital that you choose a company following CDC & WHO guidelines to disinfect from COVID-19. All American Restoration is also fully OSHA complaint.

General Duty Clause, 29 USC 654, section 5(a)(1) requires that all employers protect their employees from recognized hazards:

“Each employer shall furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which are free from recognized hazards that are causing or are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees.”

The Coronavirus is currently not listed as an exception to recording an occupational related illness in CFR 1904.5(b)(2). If an employee contracts COVID-19 through exposure on the job site, or from a co-worker, it is a recordable on the OSHA log for that business.  In the event it results in days away form work, inability to work or fatality, this is also required to be recorded.

It is required that we contact OSHA to report a fatality or hospitalization if it is due to the Coronavirus.  In case of a death, an OSHA  investigation will follow and could potentially result in a fines if the company didn’t take appropriate measures by failing to share knowledge of said incident.
